Thank you. It will not be necessary because I decided to go over the problem by reconstructing the failed Chartbook, creating a new one and duplicating each of my windows. It turns out that the weird window did duplicate getting rid of the problem. I conclude that my Chartbook had been corrupted, explaining the weird behavior. Thank you for your help anyway.
