Hi - had a cusomer point out that EOD data is not showing on the 3 Euro charts we use - XYO DYYO and MXYO. Lat bar is dated 23rd, whereas trading has closed for 24th. Here's the text of his issue which I'd normally forward by email, but you said I now needed to use these boards: My charts seem only to show historic data. See screenshot showing chart up to date as of midnight today but not showing any data since then. A related issue is that if the application is left open, it only updates once per day on the daily anniversary of the time it was first opened (I just closed and reopened, which triggers an update, before taking the attached screenshot). So if you're looking at it before your 'daily refresh' time, the charts are more than 24 hours out of date (they only refresh up to midnight at the start of the current day). Is this expected behaviour? The issue is that the charts then sometimes update only after the 'trigger' level has been hit. This happened on the FTSE earlier this week: I saw the 'buy?' recommendation (one morning around 8am, when I usually check) and went to place an order. I was surprised that the market price differed so much from the Sierra chart, and realized that the Sierra chart was showing day-old data - in fact some 32 hours old as my 'refresh time' happened to be around 9am. When I forced Sierra to update (by opening and closing the application) it showed that the price had since blown through the 'buy' level - but still this data was only as of the end of the previous day. As it happened the price had come back down since the end of the previous day so I could still place an order at the recommended level, but clearly this might not always be the case. |
