For Persistent Variables to have initial value of 0 AND initial value to be set ONCE and ONCE only by user, the autoloop needs to be 0.
This is not correct. The initial value is always zero in all conditions but it can be changed by your code. Using manual looping will not cause a user set initial value to be set once. It can be set many times. When sc.Index equals 0, that is a logical place to reset them back to a default value and should be done whether automatic or manual looping is being done.
