This is already supported. You will need to go to Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> Chart Values: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Tools.html#ChartValuesToolSettings And set the drop down in the lower left to either: Always On When Using Other Tools Or: Always Enabled When Using Other Tools From the documentation: The difference between this (Always Enabled When Using Other Tools) option and Always On When Using Other Tools is that the Chart Values tool does not actually become active until the Drawing Tool becomes active when you left click the Pointer and begin the Chart Drawing.
