User758012 I switched from Color Background based on . . . to a spreadsheet. The gaps went away. I added vertical lines in Region 2 to show when the Ticks were above or below 400. I confirm a trigger with the CCI-14 and Net-Ticks (I trade the Russell). My Region 3 is the 1-minute with a 50-EMA and 144-EMA. Litz was using a 10-7-0 Renko chart that he then Heiken-Ashi'd. Too many signals for me so I changed the Renko to 20-14-0 and I like it much more. I use 3-monitors so at close of trading yesterday, this is what I saw. I find it's all about confirmation. Not the Holy Grail but a satisfactory start. Cheers JD
