Engineering: Your suggestion (which I mention does not work in my original post) will always provide a nearest match. And that is the problem. I require an absolute match to identify the first bar to open at or after the entered time. The Time Line code previously had this as the default setting. The Horizontal Line At Time tool still has the old default and produces consistently accurate results. In Range Charts this option is particularly important. An example may illustrate. Say an 08:00:00 Time Line is selected, and a bar opens at 07:55:00 and the following bar opens at 08:14:00, with the current settings, the initial bar (which is closest to 8am) would be selected. However, what is required is that the first bar to open at or after 8am should be identified as the 8am bar. A nearest match will not achieve this, as an absolute match is required. Can this be reinstated? Thanks. |
