1. It is a good idea to update when prompted. And also periodically. 2. There is nothing special to do. All of the Chartbooks will work with the new version. 3. What you are describing is an operating system level issue/behavior. You need to change the operating system color settings to use the Title bar colors that you require and no transparency for Title bars. Really Microsoft's decision to use transparency and using colors which makes the Title bar text hard to read was was a very dumb decision.
