Thanks for this oh so simple solution. Sierra Chart Updated is now starting.... maybe odd that the original install was allowed by avast... Although this is perhaps not an entirely suitable question, as I am currently using Sierra Chart from my general purpose system, is there really any benefit to running avast or other anti-virus software? I do not venture far of the "beaten path" in www world, and also I have heard that antivirus software is only useful against "old" malware...
