do you speak about physical core or logical core ?
Either one. For example do you prefer one Intel i5 6600K with 4 cores and 4 threads or one Intel i7 6700 K with 4 cores and 8 threads ? We do not know which one is better. This is far too technical of a question for us to answer with any degree of reliability. We simply do not know.
