1. Could you please be more specific, what you mean by "when modifying some setting in the control bar"? Because we are unable to reproduce the issue you described. Also support for Custom Text Tool buttons and Custom Drawing Tool buttons were added at the latest pre-release version so if you're using them you should update Sierra Chart by following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate Support for Custom Bar Period buttons will be added in further releases. The control bar works perfectly and custom images show nicely until i modify some setting in the control bar resulting in the issue i described. Be aware that setting text for button will clear the image file you have selected.
