You are aware that the reloading only occurs from the local storage device, do not you? It certainly does not make a remote request for data. And if you start asking other Sierra Chart users how long the data loading takes for Intraday charts, they will indicate that it is very fast. It can be a problem if you are loading a large number of days, have a short timeframe per bar, and the Volume at Price data has to be calculated. In any case, there is nothing to change here. This is as fast and efficient as can be, and it cannot be beat. We find it hard to believe if you do the exact same thing with another program, you will get it to load data faster. We do not think anyone will beat Sierra Chart in this area. So this posting is puzzling to begin with. Possibly you are running antivirus/anti-malware software creating a problem? Not by much. We would think at most, that might extend the amount of time by 5% or 10% at most. And no one has ever mentioned any consequence of that and it was not noticeable to us.
