How can this be a data supply issue with Infinity, they say it is SC, since the DOM and scoreboard works fine, but SC shows ( CON)connected but charts are not active and I must continually DIS and CON data feed manually?

The reason this is an issue outside of Sierra Chart is because Sierra Chart connects to the TransAct data feed through a bridge program. You will notice an icon for this bridge program on the system tray area of the Windows taskbar on your system.

Therefore, the connection to TransAct is occurring through TransAct's own software. If there is a loss of connectivity from the bridge program to the TransAct server, Sierra Chart cannot be aware of this because Sierra Chart does have a successful connection to the bridge program and is receiving heartbeats from the bridge program.

So from the perspective of Sierra Chart, there is no problem and it is nothing that we are able to control. When you select Disconnect and Connect to Data Feed, this shuts down the bridge program and starts it back up again.
