Currently the vertical grid is drawn even on future bars. When there is a relatively large right side fill space (that holds a profile, for example), it is distracting to see so many bars there. For example, in this chart, I have a line drawn at every week. Because it is a variable time per bar chart, there are four bars drawn after the current time period, representing four future weeks. These are unnecessary and detract from what is really important--namely, the bars that are already on the chart and the weekly lines, and also the profile that is on this chart.
