Actually wine 1.6.2 works fine for historical data if you're using interactive brokers or fxcm (so maybe others) rather than Sierra Chart data. I also run Mint. http://i.imgur.com/eCfveHe.png The trick for me was when you guys suggested that the historical symbol in my forex downloads was incorrect in Global Symbol settings. http://i.imgur.com/M4gXPzH.png (thats actually correct, my issue was fx symbols) Check the symbols dark.
