It helps if the number of days to download in the chart is not a huge number. 18 different forex markets is a bit much, I'd say, however, if each one is also trying to load 30-90 days of intraday data you're going to get pacing violations. If the days aren't the issue it's possible that IB limits max concurrent connections/requests - which also makes sense.
