i was wondering myself if windows had this feature, and it doesnt look like they do. according to this link, it looks like something else like a video card may be enabling this. maybe try downloading the application in this link (given in the answer) and then turn off "always on top" that way. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-desktop/how-do-i-keep-a-window-to-always-stay-on-top-in/4f9f6f87-0e52-49cc-9053-168e1405a107 hope this helps
