Hi, Is there any option to replay the chart manually i.e. instead of selecting the speed for automatic replay, the chart can be forwarded one candle at the time by pressing some keys on the keyboard. This way one can back-test (taking trades) only when the candle has been painted to ascertain the viability of the method in a fast and relaxing manner. The above is available in many Forex charting packages from Meta-trader to ForexTester. The latter one is what I am toying with now but as it does not have Bid and Ask volume it is not useful for the "Future" back-testing for now. I suppose one can use the "Jump" option but that could only be used on timed (minute) charts and as the whole screen is repainted and the data loaded again it is very slow and distracting. I can only say that the above would increase manual back-testing efficiency substantialy. Kind regards
