Thank you, but that really only explains the different settings for saving, setting, etc. I'm sure the answer is "it depends". So for those of you searching this, this is what I did. I downloaded the "Usage counter" Networx for my laptop. Here's the download: http://download.cnet.com/NetWorx/3000-2085_4-10155904.html Now, this isn't an exact account, but I extrapolated to give you an idea, which is what I wanted. This also DOESNT include my trading platform, but just an idea of what 'my' Sierra Charts uses. (7 wdws). It comes to roughly 3GB/month with just the charts. So I know I need at "least" that for a mobile internet device. I took an one hour sample (I'm sure hours differ and I will do a whole session)then multiplied x 7 hours for day x 20 days for a month(a crude but rough estimate). Hope this helps anyone inquiring. |
