I'm trying to setup a triggered step trailing stop limit. After going over your instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_OrderTypes.html#TriggeredStepTrailingStopLimit, I can't seem to get it to work correctly. I want to set: An initial 8 tick stop A trigger of 4 ticks (market must move 4 ticks before adjusting stop) An increment of 4 ticks (when the market moves 4 ticks, the stop moves up 4 ticks) Here are my settings: http://s2.postimg.org/9l27g640p/step.jpg When I use these settings, my stop is being triggered after 4 ticks but it is moving up 8 ticks to break even. What are the correct settings to accomplish what I have above? |
