Dear Support: I want to overlay two stock symbols and their studies (simple moving averages) in one chart to do comparison. For prices overlay, I use "Overlay Bar" study. For study overlay, I use "Study/Price overlay" study. Please see the attached chart. On the left chart, the top region shows BA monthly line prices (based on close price) and its 10 period simple moving average. In the left chart bottom region, I overlay SPY monthly line prices from chart 2 (from right chart) and its 10 period simple moving average. As you can see the SPY simple moving average in the bottom region of the left chart does not match that in the right chart. Could you tell what might be wrong? Thanks very much. P.S. My Sierra Chart version is 1202. The setting of "Study/Price overlay" is shown in the second attachment file. Inside this chart, the "Study to Overlay" value is #2.ID1, where #2 is the right chart number for SPY symbol, and ID1 is its 10 period simple moving average. |
