We have updated the Relay Server documentation here to answer these questions you have: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_RelayServer.php#Introduction In summary: The relay server does not provide historical data Only the real-time streaming data. You will get a Security Definition Response for each symbol Sierra Chart is tracking data for upon connection to the relay server. So the relay server can send data on multiple symbols. Each one has a unique ID. The Security Definition Response indicates the ID. The relay server is designed to do what you want but not support historical data. You have to read historical data from the Intraday data files directly. So that is possible, just a different interface. Refer to the Intraday Data File Format in the documentation.
