Post From: EUREX Data Feed Server Changes - Restart Sierra Chart Required

This evening, October 26, 2026 we completed some server changes with the Sierra Chart EUREX Data Feed.

It is necessary to restart Sierra Chart to get the updated server list. Otherwise, you will not be able to connect to the Sierra Chart EUREX data servers.

We are no longer allowing a connection any longer to the primary EUREX processing servers in Frankfurt.

We have had a packet loss issue, today, and also last week which is very unusual and we suspect it may be related to server load from user connections and downloading of historical data.

Also we want to comment on this thread here:
FESX data feed issue: incorrect offer volumes in DOM

The reported issue in the first post is not from Sierra Chart at all! We do not believe, there was/is even a problem. That alleged issue, is totally and completely unrelated to the packet loss issue, that this thread is about. Totally and completely unrelated. That alleged issue, is not from Sierra Chart. At the time it was reported, there was no packet loss problem at all. And packet loss, does not result in a problem like that.

And we do not even believe there is a problem. Whether there is a problem or not, is not a matter for us at all. If there is an issue, it would have something to do with the EUREX EOBI Data Feed. But this is the most detailed Data Feed available from EUREX, and the market depth data, provided is accurate.

So once again, the original post in that thread, is not a Sierra Chart problem. We do not believe there was a problem at that time, and that is not our issue at all.

This particular post, in this thread, is something unrelated, and is about packet loss, which results in undeleted market depth levels. For example, you may see bid market depth levels, overlapping the ask market depth levels.

Once again and we are going to be extremely firm here. The original post here, is not our problem at all and we do not even believe there was a problem to begin with:
FESX data feed issue: incorrect offer volumes in DOM

And if there was/is an actual issue, it is not our issue. It is not our concern, and it is nothing for us to even look into. And besides it is impossible for us to even analyze a problem like that to begin with.

We are going to be very forceful and very clear about this!!

And it does not matter to us what you see in some other program. The EUREX Data Feed is being provided accurately from Sierra Chart and that is a matter of fact at that point in time. It is indisputable fact. We know that with certainty!

The subsequent packet loss issue, later in the day, and also last week is unrelated. It creates a different type of problem.
