Hi Sierra Chart Support Team,

First of all, thank you for continuously delivering the most reliable, low-latency desktop trading platform on the market.

I completely understand and respect your core philosophy regarding performance: desktop applications compiled in native C++ code and direct server-side order routing (like Teton) are undeniably superior when handling high-frequency tick-by-tick market data, Order Flow, and DOM depth.

One of the main reasons traders prefer Sierra Chart's native architecture over web-based brokers (such as Tradovate) is order execution reliability. On web-based platforms, fast 1-second price spikes often fail to trigger server-side Profit Target (TP) orders due to intermediate cloud/API delays. Sierra Chart’s native C++ infrastructure and direct server-side bracket handling are uniquely equipped to ensure TP orders wait directly on the exchange engine without missing execution during these volatile spikes.

Knowing how powerful your desktop platform is, I would like to request that you consider offering an optional web-based chart viewing and trading feature (even in a simplified format), while clearly warning users about the technical limitations and risks.

Key Arguments for This Request:

Flexibility & Remote Monitoring: Active traders who rely on Sierra Chart's robust C++ study calculations and server-side brackets often need to monitor market structure or open position status remotely (e.g., from a mobile device or a secondary machine where full installation is not feasible).

User Choice & Risk Acknowledgment: While web browsers have inherent performance limits and cannot match the microsecond execution of your C++ engine, allowing users the option to view basic charts with explicit risk disclaimers regarding latency or feed limitations would solve a major bottleneck for remote workflow.

Complements the Web Trading Panel: You already provide a Web-Based Trading Panel for emergency position management. Adding a lightweight, optional chart component alongside this panel would complete the remote web monitoring experience without compromising the core desktop platform's speed and integrity.

We understand that market data licensing (exchange fees) and developer resources are critical factors, but even a basic implementation (perhaps utilizing lightweight snapshots) would add immense value to the community.

Thank you for your time and for considering this perspective from your user community.

Best regards,

L.
