There is no reason for Interactive Brokers to know anything about the symbol "SOXL-NQTV". So we wonder if you have charts open that do not have a "Trade and Current Symbol" set. But even then, we are not sure why exactly why you would be getting this kind of error, as it should only become an issue if you are entering a trade. And there are entries that look like the following: 2026-10-02 06:38:36.019 | Message from IB: Requested market data requires additional subscription for API. In this case, it looks like you have charts that have the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" set properly, but they do not have the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol" set to "Yes".
