We see where the confusion is coming from. In general, what you expected to happen should. But, there is one condition where this would not be case. If the "Chart Trading Order Line Text Color" is not set to be exactly the same as the "Chart Background", then the "Chart Trading Order Line Text Color" is used for the coloring of the Order Line text instead of the coloring based on the order type. There must be some small difference in these values for your chart. Check the color setting for the "Chart Background" and make sure the "Chart Trading Order Line Text Color" is exactly the same. Then the other colors will get utilized. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
