Post From: Historical Intraday Data

Hello Sierra Chart Support,

I'm unable to download historical intraday data through my Rithmic connection (Service: rithmic.trading, server rsc.rithmic.com port 50502). The connection itself establishes successfully and I receive live/real-time data while connected, but historical intraday requests are consistently rejected.

Message Log shows, for every symbol I've tested (QGV6.NYMEX, MCLV6.NYMEX, CLV6.NYMEX, 6JZ6.CME, MGCZ6.COMEX, NGV26.NYMEX):

"Historical data logon error: permission denied"

Example entries:
"HD Request #319 | Error downloading historical Intraday data for QGV6.NYMEX. Historical data logon error: permission denied"
"HD Request #316 | Error downloading historical Intraday data for MCLV6.NYMEX. Historical data logon error: permission denied"

This happens on every symbol, not just one. Real-time data flows normally while the chart is open, but nothing is written to the .scid files as historical backfill — the bars disappear once I disconnect, confirming no actual historical data is being downloaded/cached.

I've already confirmed with my broker (Phidias Propfirm, using a Rithmic account) that Rithmic-side permissions were checked and re-enabled on their end, but the error persists after fully restarting Sierra Chart and reconnecting. They advised me to contact you directly, as they said Sierra Chart manages the historical data download process on top of the Rithmic feed.

Could you help me identify what's blocking these historical intraday requests? I'm happy to send the full Message Log screenshots if needed.

Thank you,
Omar Martinez
