Hello, this post will fairly long-winded ( plz bear with me, as I wanted to outline everything I did ) The issue, is in having the chart "paint a new bar" the minute the older one is finished with its time frame, ( ie, start painting a new bar every 15 minutes, for 15M bars ) ( Chart is for = 100 OZ Silver ) What I did so far: ================== 1. Chart Settings>>Bar Period>>Include Columns with no data = YES 2. Chart Settings>>Bar Period>>Session Times Session Start Time = 00:00:00 Session End Time = 23:59:00 3. Chart Settings>>Data Limiting>>Chart data Type = INTRADAY CHART ONLY 4. Chart Settings>>Bar Period>>Chart data Type = INTRADAY CHART ONLY 5. Chart Settings>>Session Times>>New bar at session Start = YES 6. Global Settings>>General Settings>>Subscribe to Real-Time data and download Historical data = YES 7. Global Settings>>Charts>>Allow New data in Unlocked fill space = YES 8. I cannot find the setting for = FORWARD PROJECTION BARS, and from a Google search, it seems like this is the most logical thing to do ( to get a bar to update in real-time In Sierra Charts ) I looked in: ============ Chart Settings>>Display ( as mentioned in the Google Search ), but I could not locate this setting. 9. Also, my 1M bars will not update either. These also lag several minutes behind ( pic 3 ). So clearly, several 1M bars have already occurred, but they are not updating in real-time ( painting to chart ) Even if there's no trade activity for 14 minutes, the toggled setting at ( 1 = above ) should have flushed these bars to the chart and shown them as "flat lines", which is what Sierra actually does, but with much older bars. So yes, "no trade-activity bars" do get flushed to chart, but for some reason, they don't do this in real-time. ( My laptop time is up-to-date, and TOTP login works, so I'm sure the local clock is synchronized ) How do I make the next bar paint in real time, based on its starting time? Trada_58376470 |
