Sub-Instances are not able to control their own "Minimum Market by Order Quantity". Since the data in a Sub-Instance comes from the main instance, the MBO data that shows in a sub-instance will match what is seen in the Main Instance, including any filtering that is occurring in the Main instance. In other words, if you set a Minimum Market by Order Quantity of 10 in the main instance, then you will only see MBO data in both the Main instance and any sub-instaces that are greater than 10. We are not sure what you mean by this: When I set the filter of the sub-instance to the same quantity set on the main instance it shows many more orders (with the same quantity) than the first instance.
We do not see any issues with setting the sub-instance to the same value as the main instance. It does not have any impact on the sub-instance values that are displayed. Make sure that after you change the "Minimum Market by Order Quantity" in the main instance that you select "File >> Reconnect" to update the data feed. Otherwise, you will not have that filtering being applied.
