There was a change awhile ago to allow you to control what messages show up in your Message Log and Trade Service Log. If you updated to certain releases, these items all got set to "No", meaning nothing would show in the logs. To fix this, select "Global Settings >> Message Categories" and set the items you want to show to "Yes" (or set them all to "Yes" if you are not certain about what you want or do not want).
