After looking into solutions very deeply over the past week and trying a variety of methods, I have realized that the Denali US Consolidated data becomes completely unusable for swing trading if it's not going to be automatically updating and merging data files of stocks that go through ticker changes. There are roughly 30-40 ticker symbol changes that happen per month, and that's significant enough to create issues. There are important companies like Bank of New York Mellon which trades under $BNY now and was $BK before, and it has many years of crucial historical daily data. Again, I want to reiterate that these kind of ticker symbol changes happen plenty of times to US non-OTC stocks per month, so it's pretty meaningful. While you guys fixed VSCO to VSXY, there are plenty of other stocks that went through ticker changes and there needs to be a reasonable way to automatically catch these in order for Denali US Consolidated Feed to be sustainably used in the future for anyone swing trading.
