No this is definitely not the case: I expected unsolicited POSITION_UPDATE (Message Type 306) to represent the same position shown in: Trade Window Chart Position Line Trade Position There is no association with the positions through the DTC Protocol server and a Simulated Chart Position. The way that simulated positions work for the DTC server is based upon all of the available order fills for the particular Symbol and simulated trade account that you can see through the Trade Activity Log. The implementation of this is complex, and it is beyond anything we can explain here, and there are some inherent problems with simulated positions through DTC. It is not anything that we can spend time on now. There can and will be reliability problems but this functionality is just considered for test purposes.
