1. Nothing specific is required for a Trading DOM. You need to set the Inputs as you need/want for the particular study you are overlaying.

2. It depends on what you are overlaying, just like with any other study. If the study is displayed in combination with the main price graph, then it should be put in Region 1. If it is a separate thing with very different values from the main price graph, then it would be in its own region.

3. The "Study/Price Overlay has several Inputs that control whether you can make changes to items in the overlay. By default, these are set to use the items as they are set in the source study.

4. Not really. For the most part, you can overlay any study that is capable of being overlaid to any other chart.

But, what you need to keep in mind is that you can not see bars or the times, so you do not have the same view of the bars as you do in a normal chart. So you may have more, or less, information in the Trading DOM than you do in the chart.

Additionally, the range of prices in a Trading DOM tends to be very limited. So you may need to expand the price scale to be able to view the information from the overlaid study properly.

With the VWAP study, there is little reason that it should be showing differently in the Trading DOM versus a chart, except for issues related to the scaling. BE sure you have the bar spacing and the price ladder set how they need them to be to see the information properly in the Trading DOM.
