I found that disabling "File Download" in my account settings eliminates the approximately 46-second startup delay. However, I do not understand why the delay occurs. According to the Message Log, the only file listed was: Order rejected.wav and "User files to download complete" was already logged before the 46-second wait. The WAV file already existed locally as well. So it is not clear what Sierra Chart is waiting for during those 46 seconds before opening the startup Chartbook. |
