Thanks for the support, John. Do I understand correctly that this faulty behavior is reasonable to you because TWS does not support Limit-Chase orders? Do I have to fully give up on my desired approach? I just don't understand why sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes not. Any magic settings maybe? 😉 BTW: I find that Gemini response to be pretty interesting: The Crash Threshold: If Sierra Chart sends 51 messages in a single second, you will trigger IB Error Code 100: "Max rate of messages per second has been exceeded." When this occurs, TWS will not just ignore the extra messages—it will often sever the API connection entirely, leaving your orders orphaned until you reconnect. I often place the trade, cancel it, place it again, cancel it, and so on within one minute. Wouldn't be suprised 😉. At least, this would make sense. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-06-04 17:35:20
