We do not see any limit for the Text Tag. However, when it is displayed, and we have not checked, but most likely there is a display limit. This would probably be about 256 characters. We do see a limit when the text tag is embedded in the Order Action Source for ACSIL trading functions and it is limited there to 256 characters. 4. Is there any difference in TextTag behavior between simulated trading and live trading / external trade services? No.5. Are there any characters that should be avoided in TextTag? For example: `=`, `_`, `|`, `-`, `:` No.6. Is it safe to rely on TextTag as a short identifier, while storing the full detailed order metadata externally? Whatever you want to do is fine.
