Mike, thank you for your reply. Reading about your current setup, I will likely stick with my old platform which has been fine so far. Only problem is I want to run 3 instances of SC, and my 5600G has only 6 cores, so I cannot allocate 2 per instance. I probably will not allocate any cores and see how it goes (I am running some heavier custom studies). In any case, upon finding another post of yours (and the one from Dorian) I have just ordered a used Quatro P2200 :-) Thanks again. |
