I found an older post where something similar was being experienced, but not exactly my scenario. The advice on that post by Sierra Chart support was to exclude the Sierra Chart folder from Windows Security and to reinstall Sierra Chart. So I did that and it worked for me initially, but then it reoccurred the next day, which was a surprise. That is when I turned off Smart App Control.

I did not try what you recommended above, but if it works, it would be simpler.
