This is purely informational in case anyone else encounters this problem. Windows 11 generated a message that one of my custom dll files was being flagged by Smart App Control in Windows 11 because it did not recognize it or something to that effect. It would not allow the dll file to load and goodness knows what else it did. The result was the study and other studies that depended on it stopped working together with the log file being filled with error messages. To correct this reinstall your current version of Sierra Chart or reinstall the latest version if you wish. You may or may not need to recompile your offending dll. Also, turn off Smart App Control. Excluding the Sierra Chart folder from Windows Security did not prevent this problem from reoccurring, but turning off Smart App Control did. |
