And since this is not a per symbol setting, but a global setting, it does not roll down into the Chart Settings when it is set. It just applies that functionality when set.
That’s exactly what I’m pointing out. In my opinion, the current solution isn’t intuitive or logical. If I set this in Symbols Settings and then forget about it, I won’t understand why the session times keep changing even though this setting is disabled in Chart Settings (Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart = No). If this setting were simply inherited (like, for example, the global color settings for the chart window), the user would know that it is set by default. Furthermore, if this setting were enabled globally, it could be disabled individually for a specific window, which is not possible now. |
