I want to refresh an old thread on the Sierra forum. It concerns the following: I have Sierra installed on my PC, package 11, with Denali as the data feed. I need to travel for a short period and would like to use Sierra on my laptop. Question 1: Do I need to install a fresh version of Sierra on the laptop and then replace its folder with the entire Sierra folder from my PC so that everything is identical? Question 2: Or is it enough to simply copy the Sierra folder to the laptop and have everything work correctly? I will only be using the laptop during that time (not both devices simultaneously). What is the most sensible way to do this? |
