I'm well aware of the options you are suggesting. I have read the documentation thoroughly. I want to be able to switch between RTH and ETH in my charts, so I also want to use the evening session, although with a slightly adjusted start time. Otherwise, if there were a global option to turn off "New Bar at Session Start" with each new chart, then this would mean that any non-time-based chart (Range, Number of Trades, etc.) would never have a specific starting time. And we question is this is something you really want.
I'm not sure I understand what you're pointing out. However, even with the "New Bar At Session Start" option disabled, you can still specify the start time for non-time-based bars. If Evening Session = Yes, then the first non-time-based bar in the chart starts according to the Evening Start Time. However, if Evening Session = No, then the first non-time-based bar in the chart starts according to the Session Start Time. In any case, my idea was that even though "New Bar At Session Start" could be set to "No" globally, it should be possible to change this at the level of individual chart windows. I wanted to say that I would like it to work the same way as the "Apply Intraday Session Times To Intraday Chart" option. However, I ran into a problem. Although I enabled this setting globally and individual chart windows follow it, in Chart Settings>Session Times, "Apply Intraday Session Times To Intraday Chart" is still displayed as "No" (see the screenshot). The global setting was not inherited as we are used to. This means that currently, this setting cannot be changed at the level of individual chart windows. Are you aware of this? I’m used to the fact that anything I set globally in Sierra can also be changed individually for each chart window. Unfortunately, that principle doesn’t work here. I therefore suggest that both the "New Bar At Session Start" option and the "Apply Intraday Session Times To Intraday Chart" option be configurable both globally and locally.
