I had been trying for months to build a volume profile exactly as I want it to be. It should be something like the Recent bid/ask volume activity but there are known issues in this type of profile. I am mostly trading NQ and I desperately beed to see the zero prints as they are formed. The real problem is the lookback period. I tried everything but nothing worked. I wanted real reset of the volume profile down to the millisecond. Accumulation of volume should occur only during the time frame that I wanted. I wanted the bars to start growing smaller as time passes and the old activity should start to dissapear second by second. There is a known issue in real, down to the millisecond, accumulation, elimination and representation of the REAL volume activity that occured during the specific amount of time. Recent bid/ask does not work correctly. A newly built study should be made from scratch. The lookback algorithm with precision down to the millisecond was a big obstacle. But no more! The engine works flawlessly and extremely fast. No more need for Recent Bid Volume/Recent Ask Volume hacks. And most importantly, the bid/ask bars are absolutely proportional to their size. Bigger volume larger bar. Last but not least, it works in all chart types, tick, volume, time, range, etc. Everywhere! Stay tuned for more. |
