We are not seeing any issues with a Point draw style and OpenGL. If you try a different style (such as Line or Bar) does that work correctly for you? Also, we have had a few reports of the latest drivers for NVIDIA having a problem with OpenGL, such that it was crashing the system. We have not had the exact report of what you are stating, but it is something to check on. If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, and if you are on the latest driver, then roll back a few versions and see if this makes any difference.
