This morning while loading up my Sierra Charts, I got a message from my computer security that something was wrong and that a mal-user could take control of the app.

Sorry I forgot to take a screenshot of the message as I panicked and tried to close it down asap.

I think I need to uninstall, Sierra Chart - and to-re-install it again. Please let me know how to uninstall first - as my downloaded version of SC is not listed in the usual 'installed apps list' in Windows 11.

Thank you for your help.

You won't need to uninstall nor reinstall Sierra Charts.

First, run your anti-virus on the Sierra Charts folder, to make sure it is not affected.

If it is okay, then just make a copy of Sierra Charts entire folder from the directory where you have it installed to an external hard drive.

Once you have your problem resolved in your computer, copy the Sierra Charts folder back to your computer to the directory you desire it to be.

You will probably need to create new shortcuts to start Sierra Charts.
