Historical Data Port (11098) – connection is closed after sending a Market Data Snapshot request (Type 101) That port does not support a market data request which is for streaming or snapshot data. Only historical data requests.Is a SecurityDefinitionForSymbolRequest required before sending a Market Data Snapshot when using JSON Compact? No definitely not.Is real-time market data via DTC supported when Sierra is connected to CQG WebAPI? Not for data from CQG.Is there a required message sequence for market data requests on port 11098 from an external client? No.
