Persistent variables are great and they work well. Apologies, should have done a better job of explaining the problem (or perceived problem) Chart 1 study 1 refers to Chart 2 Study 1 Chart 2 study 2 refers to chart 1 study 2 That creates a cyclical dependency and constant re-evaluation of studies (Classic deadlock/livelock) Above is a simplified example. But I have ended in a deadlock scenario in more complex ways. A global cache independent of Charts and existing at Chartbook level, will avoid such a situation. May be there is already a way to address this - Happy to be guided on this. |
