I had received an email alerting me to a liquidation risk. I subsequently deposited funds into my account which I confirmed has increased my funds. Starting with having no open positions, I then entered an order to M2K (very small margin required) but the order was rejected. In the Trade Service Log the message says, 'Teton CME Routing (Order Reject). Trade Order Error- Order increases position. Liquidation only mode...' I thought my deposit, although small, satisfied your 2 criteria in the warning email so I am unsure how to proceed. Note- I don't understand 'order increases position'. I was starting out with no open positions. FYI, my order was for just 1 contract to ensure I was within required criteria. |
