Post From: Opening Message Log Window causes workspace switch on Linux

Debian 13, x86_64, kernel 6.12.63
GNOME 48
wine 11

I have update wine from version 10 to version 11.

On wine version 11, when SC is running in a GNOME workspace that is not the currently visible workspace, and the SC message log window forces itself to the z-stack top, the complete SC program (i.e. main window and message log window) is moved to the currently visible GNOME workspace. This occurs for all SC versions I have in use. This behavior has not been observed with wine 10.

So, I assume this is an issue with wine 11.

However, I would like to know what the expected behavior is from the viewpoint of SC engineering.
Note 1: This is not a multi-monitor configuration. I only have one 4k-monitor for this system.
Note 2: I am not sure what the Windows-equivalent of a GNOME workspace is. I do not use Windows. From what I have heard you can configure multiple "desktops" on Windows. Maybe this is the same functionality.

Additional question:
Can the behavior of the message log window, that it forces itself to the z-stack top, be disabled?
