Regarding this issue: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/news/hijacked-incident-info-update/ We are going to stop distribution of notepad plus plus and we no longer recommend using it. Please start looking for alternatives. We are going to look ourselves. Here is one such product but we have not had a chance to really look at it in depth: https://www.textpad.com/products/textpad/screenshots The version of notepad plus plus, we supply from Sierra Chart, definitely should not be compromised based on the information that we have. And as long as you did not update it using the built-in updater of the notepad++ editor, you will not have had any problem. And probably any version that is directly downloaded from their website should not be compromised. It is really the process of updating, which could cause some malicious software to be potentially received. And we do not have enough information about this last part. We have seen no evidence of any problems ourselves but we also have not updated this notepad++ software during the timeframe, of the security issue.
