But per my understanding, max delta is always positive and Min Delta is always negative.
Then your understanding is wrong. Consider this: The first trade in a bar is sell 100 therefore delta = -100 Then for the duration of the bar delta never goes higher than -100 What is max delta? It can only be -100, as that is the maximum value for delta during the bar. |
